Running & Roses

The best part of today was a great run after school!  I was a bit afraid to hit the treadmill, but did well, and missed running!

The best part of yesterday was coming home from work to find a dozen pink roses on the kitchen table!  Tim is the best.

Another best part of yesterday was finishing my draft of chapter 1 for my thesis... I just have to revise a few parts and it will be finito!  WOOHOO!

Surprises!

The best thing about today was Tim blowing his surprise for me.

On May 3rd we will celebrate the 1 year anniversary of our engagement. 

Tim is taking me to The Milwaukee Brewers vs. Diamondbacks game... featuring the RYAN BRAUN BOBBLEHEAD GIVEAWAY!

I love it.

The other day my dear friend Jen wrote about how the best part of every day was Alex.  I thought this was incredibly sweet, and realized that the best part of my day, EVERY day is Tim.

I guess it's a good thing since we are getting married and all!

Remembering

The best thing about today was traveling northward to Casco with Tim, Brooke, and Jodi to remember Dean.

I am very very very glad that Tim came with us.

We got to visit with him, and then met up with his family.

The Opicka's are AMAZING people.  They live an inspiring life.

So today, we remember, lest we ever forget, our fallen hero.  

Dean is always loved and NEVER forgotten.  He has taken a piece of us with him, until we meet again.

Remembering Dean, and all of our heroes, is the best (even if it is the hardest) part of every day.

The best thing about today:

THE BREWERS BEAT THE CUBS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And I got to spend time with Tim, and I got to spend time with my LADIES!

I will survive

The best thing about today was surviving.

It was a particularly physically and emotionally draining day.  I don't like days like these.

Tonight, I was productive, and that was good.

The BEST part about today will be going to bed EARLY!  :)

Tim Time

The best thing about today was Tim visiting me at school at the end of the day and bringing my teaching stuff.  It was nice to have him there, get some things done, and for some of the staff to meet him.

We had delicious turkey burgers for dinner (Thank you,  George Foreman!)  Then registered at Target for a few things... sadly it wasn't as fun there as at JCP or Crate and Barrel, but we got some fun stuff there. :)

I love Tim.  I cannot wait to be his wife.

Shopping for Free

The best thing about today was starting the process of registering for gifts with Tim.  We actually agreed on a bedspread right away, and Tim encouraged me to pick out that coffee maker that makes one cup at a time.  So, for now we are registered at JC Penney, and have 2 more stores we want to create registries at.  

As things get done one by one for the wedding, I get more and more excited.  Sadly, I MUST carve out some major time to work on my thesis this month, then I can focus on WEDDING and summer and all things good with the world.
